Lyndsey Scott for Calvin Klein 2009
Lyndsey Scott is an upcoming model who has just begun to make her way up the modeling ladder. I decided to feature her for this week’s, Model Mondays because I saw her in the September Issue of W and I was blown away by the picture. Lyndsey looked stunning and at the time, I didn’t know her name. After finding her name in the credits, I immediately went to Google to find more information on her.

Lyndsey Scott was born in New Jersey, although she currently resides in New York. Lyndsey was discovered by Jules Birnbaum Watson of Click Models who found her picture on Models.com. Lyndsey had a major debut since she received an exclusive deal for Calvin Klein for the February 2009 season. Lyndsey was also featured in the Baby Phat and DKNY campaigns in 2009.

In my opinion, Lyndsey’s best features are her eyes and her lovely chocolate brown complexion. Her bold bright eyes really round out her face and make her even more beautiful. Lyndsey also has beautiful skin. Even though she’s only twenty, she clearly never had the teen acne problems. In fact, it looks as though she’s never had a real blemish. Not to mention that it’s not easy to be a model with a darker complexion. It’s hard to get a job as a black model but even more so if you’re darker. Don’t believe me? Then, why are the most famous models of color Veronica Webb, Liya Kebede, Beverly Johnson? The only famous models who are darker are Naomi Campbell and Iman.
Veering back to the matter at hand, Lyndsey Scott is a beautiful model who is already showing tremendous promise. If she keeps at it, she can definitely enjoy a successful career in the fashion industry. I wish her the best in everything that she does.

I’m not sure why you’d write about this woman…Jules ruined me. End of story.
Hello, thank you for reading. I wrote about Lyndsey because she is a promising emerging African American model who has received success very early on in her career, I think she is beautiful and I like to write about models that I admire. I apologize if you had a bad experience with Jules but that doesn’t mean that I cannot write about Lyndsey & mention who she was discovered by.
My suggestion to you is to keep on modeling if you enjoy doing so & feel that you have a chance to become successful. However, please do not assume that others are supposed to never mention Jules’ name simply because you had a bad experience. I’m sorry that you feel your career is over but if you keep on trying & believe in yourself, you can & will succeed. Best of luck to you & again thank you for reading.
