Dear Pennies and Pens,

Flashing lights, risqué style, tasty cocktails, blow-up balloons and a Keri Hilson concert were all a part of celebrating the launch of Paper Magazine’s 14th annual Beautiful People issue in Hollywood on Tuesday night.

The private party, which Guess co-hosted, was held at The Standard hotel on Sunset Boulevard and its guest list included some of young Hollywood—such as model Raina Hein, Hellcats star Robbie Jones, actor Damien Wayans, and comedian Kevin Hart. A blonde Keri Hilson closed the night with a concert that included “Pretty Girl Rock.”

Miss Keri Baby is one of the “beautiful people” on Paper magazine’s 2011 list, which also includes Adele, Ball-Nogues Studio, Justin Bartha, Rachel Chandler, Mandy Coon, Das Racist, Landry Fields, Santino Fontana, Claiborne Swanson, Frank, Cary Fukunaga, Gayletter, Selena Gomez, Amber Heard, Siggi Hilmarsson, Cannon Hodge, Josh Hutcherson, Paul Iacono, Rajiv Joseph, Rob Kardashian, Asher Levine, Chelsea Leyland, Joe Manganiello, Austin McCormick, India Menuez, Ovenly, Peepshow Films, Conrad Ruiz, Carlos Santolalla, Elisa Sednaoui, Joan Smalls, Stalley, Terrible Records, Alex Timbers, The Wonder Girls, Hikari Yokoyama, and Edith Zimmerman.

As for the fabulous fashion at Paper’s party: models walked poolside flaunting Guess attire. Some party guests wore distressed jeans and ripped t-shirts with bright, neon-colored accessories. Others kept their look hip in all black everything. And three people (two pennies and one pen) wore faux fur hats topped with animal ears…. *Pause* is that becoming a trend? You tell us!

And there it is. The Fashion & Style of the Pen…Chosen by Pen…Reported by L.A. Confidential.
